NASA’s Artemis I SLS megarocket launch

After experiencing a delay due to an engine leak last week, NASA's enormous Space Launch System (SLS) is almost ready for launch.
This much-awaited rocket launch, which has been planned for more than a decade, represents NASA's return to crewed lunar missions. While there won't be any astronauts on board for this flight, the Artemis I mission will serve as a test for the future objective of landing the first woman and the first person of color on the Moon.
